The Artist and Photographer
The world is my canvas and the camera is my paint brush. I snap a picture and there is my painting created by my hands. This is my view of the world through artist eyes.
The Artist
Art is a spiritual extension of my existence.. It is more than just an expression. Art is a way of being through my vision and imagination. I could not imagine stepping away from what is part of me. This is the way of my communication.
My Background
I was born in Washington, DC and was raised in the DMV area. I discovered my love for art at the age of four. As I grew up I developed my passion for it. I won several art competitions while attending the Maryland College of Art & Design and earned an Associate’s Degree of Arts in Visual Communications and Graphic Arts, in June 1997.
After graduation, I continued to focus on my art, through various exhibitions in DMV area and recently in the Southern Tier of Up State New York eventually leading up to a one man show. Art by Marcellus was created in 2009. In 2016, I started studying photography at Footprint Fotos Studios, located in Washing, DC. This is where I was able to combine my love of art and photography.

What I love about being an artist and photographer has no limits to the imagination. Listening to what my clients are asking, giving them direction for what can be possible, and completing the task is my pleasure.
